New Construction Products Regulation takes effect in the UK on the 1st July 2013 - Are you ready?
There are changes on the horizon for product regulations affecting the construction industry and we would like to offer you some help to understand the UK legislation that will have an impact on you and your colleagues.
Who will this affect?
All manufacturers of products that fall under the following definition will now need to meet the new regulations for CE Marking in the UK.
“Any construction product which is produced and placed on the market for incorporation in a permanent manor in construction works or parts thereof”
Are you on track?
The Construction Products Regulations (EU) no. 305/2011 is being introduced from the 1st July 2013, replacing the previous Construction Products Directive.
