EuP Consultation15th April 2010DEFRA has issued a consultation on the introduction of Civil Sanctions and Cost Sharing for the Energy Using Products and Energy Labelling Regulations. The consultations will give you the chance to comment on the proposals that are looking to improve the enforcement options available to the MSA (Market Surveillance Authority). The proposal is hoping to both encourage compliance and ensure the penalties available are proportionate to level and effects of non-compliance.
